ANWB chooses best safety system for climbing forests
Posted Friday, June 13, 2014 The ANWB has scrutinized various safety systems of Dutch climbing parks in 'de Kampioen' of June. Many of the parks were perceived as not safe due to the use of fuse systems where the participant can stand loose in the course. The Expoglider system came out positively from the ANWB test. With this system, the climber is continuously attached to the lifeline, making the visit to our climbing forest a safe experience. This system has been used in the climbing forest of Garderen since 2012. Klimbos Garderen therefore considers itself to be the safest climbing forest in the Netherlands!
