Meeting new Barneveld alderman in Klimbos

Go Barneveld, the tourism platform of the municipality of Barneveld, had an introduction to the new alderman Mrs. Dorrestijn yesterday morning. For the past 12 years, Alderman van den Hengel was the one who boosted the tourism climate in the municipality of Barneveld. But now it is Ms. Dorrestijn's turn, as she has tourism in her portfolio for the coming years.

Tourism is an important pillar in the municipality, so Ms. Dorrestijn was visibly enthusiastic about the developments Go Barneveld is undertaking to connect tourists to the region and municipality. In addition, Erik Kroon, owner of the Klimbos Garderen, located in the municipality of Barneveld, gave a brief presentation on his attraction which accounts for 65,000 visitors per year.
