Klimbos Garderen has established a special partnership with Staatsbosbeheer.
The plot where the climbing forest is located belongs to Staatsbosbeheer and we are therefore very proud of the final result.
The objective of Staatsbosbeheer is to let people enjoy nature more, in different (active) ways. 'A climbing forest is a perfect example of this,' said Staatsbosbeheer.
New to the Climbing Forest of Garderen is the educational hanging in the plot. Not at ordinary heights but, you guessed it, suspended in the course.
Participants who are climbing then receive education about the nature they are seeing at that moment. The various bird boxes also give more of an idea of what lives on the Veluwe.
For the children, there is a questionnaire they can fill out later so the education is combined with the climbing. Klimbos Garderen has put together various school trip packages and, in cooperation with the tree garden and Landgoed Schovenhorst, has put together an educational program for the little ones. Klimbos Garderen is unique in its kind due to the total nature experience including eduacation.
