Children from 4 years up to 1.19 metres can climb on two courses climbing. They get to wear a special climbing harness and a cool climbing helmet.
From 1.20, they may also climb on the higher courses. Thus Klimbos Garderen is perfect for a family outing or family day!
Climbing along as an adult
Also in the two courses that are especially for toddlers you must climb with them as a parent. One adult may accompany a maximum of three children. This also applies to children who are over 1.20 meters but not yet 13 years old or older. Keep in mind that you must also climb with these children who may want to be in the higher courses.
Example: Suppose you are with three children ages 4, 8 and 11 and two adults. Then one parent can climb with the 4-year-old and the other parent can climb with the children aged 8 and 11.
If you are alone as a parent with three children of the above ages, you have to take into account that the children will have to wait occasionally. Advice in this is, go climbing separately once with the 4-year-old and come back another time with the 8- and 11-year-old or find an extra adult who wants to join you on climbing adventure.
